Crystal Medium Black is also an exhibition held at L' Atelier in Berlin in february 2013, collecting a range of Benjamin L. Aman' s recent works. Beside drawings, installations and videos, CMB is a sound work composed by Aman for the show and played intermittently during the time of the exhibition. Both sides bring together thin pure static tones, analog electronics, collages and concrete sounds with a minimalistic approach and a dislocated sense of time and space. Crystal Medium Black can be seen as a "a mirror of an organised area, plunged into darkness to force the luminous parts to emerge. "

The edition is presented in a black mat solid cardboard boxset, containing a 180g 12" black vinyl, an original ink on paper from the serie Circumvolutions and a 15 pages B&W booklet (21 x 29 cm).
Edition signed, stamped and numbered from 1 to 15.
All sounds and artwork by Benjamin Laurent Aman.
